Created a fun video asset for Goose Creek Candle to bring awareness and drive engagement/conversion for their latest collaboration with Hasbro’s Candy Land®. I was responsible for all the motion design and vfx including modeling, animating, and compositing 3D candy assets.

For the primary typeface, I decided to pull away from the client’s normal branding and used the rounded sans serif VAG Rundschrift D. It is only used as the flavor name headings since this is a special collaboration with Candyland.
Before I began animating, I gathered a moodboard to set the tone and visual direction of the animations. Since the video is set in real life and the candy land world, I leaned into chunky, simplified 3D candy to help blend the lines between reality vs fantasy.
I modeled and animated the 3D candies in Blender and brought them into After Effects for final compositing.
